Join us for Beckenham Business Association's annual 'Pops to the Park' summer social in Beckenham Place Park.

Our summer social in Beckenham Place Park is happening again!

Please join us for a relaxed, evening summer social in the exquisite surroundings of Beckenham Place Park. We'll start with a Nordic Walking activity, for those who want to, and finish with some networking and the chance to enjoy the park's weekly summer Peckish food event.

Timings

  • Meet at 6.30pm somewhere in the seated area at the back of Beckenham Place Mansion. We'll have the BBA banner there to identify us.

  • Those who want to can then take part in the Nordic Walking activity around the beautiful park. BBA member Kathryn Zamar of Forever FITT will be leading the Nordic Walking. She has 10 sets of poles, so it will be first-come, first-served on the night to use the poles. If you have your own poles already, please bring them. Otherwise, those without poles can still take part, learn the technique and follow everyone else on the walk.

  • Those who don’t want to join the walk can stay at the mansion and start enjoying the Peckish event.

  • After the activity (approx. an hour), we’ll join the others by the BBA banner for food, drinks and informal networking.

Feel free to find the BBA banner at Peckish at any point after 6.30pm.

A BBA committee member will stay with the banner for those not taking part in the Nordic Walking activity.

We’re not having a speaker for this event. Aside from the activity, it’s purely a social event to connect with other local business owners, do some networking and enjoy the summer evening.

As we can't rely on the British weather (especially not this summer!), we'll make contingency for an indoor event if necessary, but please come prepared if the forecast is for rain!
